This is a post I meant to publish a few weeks ago, but amidst everything going on in my life, I didn’t get a chance to, so here it is!

Wow. That’s the only word I can think of right now to sum up how I feel. When I posted my entry about my dad a few weeks ago, I wrote it in a way where people who knew him could know where I was coming from and those who didn’t could better understand the influence he’s had on my throughout my life. The comments on here, the texts I received from my family, emails, phone calls, Facebook comments were a lovely surprise to see. I was overwhelmed by all the kind words and wonderful memories people had of him and was not expecting that response!

This is what I posted on my Facebook page to thank everyone:
Wow thanks to everyone for the kind thoughts, words, comments, phone calls and emails yesterday, I really appreciate all the wonderful things that were said and the wonderful people you all are. So glad you enjoyed the entry as well! For those who knew my dad, I hope it brought back some great memories and for those who didn’t, I hope it brought him to life and gave you a sense of the kind of person he was ♥

Family, whether it be the traditional definition of family or friends and people I’ve met along the way who are like family, mean a lot to me. I’m so glad to have been able to share that with you.
