The title of this post makes me smile, as it’s a line from the movie Up, in which self-proclaimed wilderness explorer Russell exclaims, “The wilderness must be explored! Ca-caw, rawr!” Such a heartwarming movie, one that my boyfriend Sean and I love.

Speaking of which, over the summer, we made the most of the beautiful summer afternoons by taking long strolls and hikes around Oakville, on a mission to explore the wilderness like dear Russell. We’d been wanting to go on a little adventure with our cameras, so once afternoon in July, armed with our cameras, we set out into the woods. Below are some photos from our adventure. Enjoy!
